The beautiful and talented American actress Scarlett Johansson has been named "the sexiest woman alive" for the second time by Esquire, the men's lifestyle magazine said on October 7, 2013.

Here below is the news report from Reuters:

"The Avengers" star was named sexiest woman in 2006 and is the only woman to have been given the title twice by the publication. The annual recipient of the title is chosen by Esquire editors.

Husky-voiced Johansson, who rose to prominence as a teenager in the 2001 cult film "Ghost World," stars in three films this fall. In "Don Jon" she plays the girlfriend of a pornography addict and in the sci-fi thriller "Under the Skin" she is a seductive extraterrestrial. She voices a man's computer companion in "Her."

"You know, I gotta hustle," Johansson told the magazine of her busy work schedule. "I'm a 28-year-old woman in the movie business, right? Pretty soon the roles you're offered all become mothers. Then they just sort of stop."

Johansson said last month she was engaged to marry French journalist Romain Dauriac. Her previous marriage to actor Ryan Reynolds ended in 2011 after three years.

Last year's sexiest woman, according to Esquire, was American actress Mila Kunis.

Barbadian pop singer Rihanna, British actress Kate Beckinsale and South African actress Charlize Theron have all been given the "sexiest" distinction by the magazine.

Advance happy birthday to Philippine actor, athlete and celebrity endorser Piolo Pascual, who is turning 36 years old this coming January 12, 2012.

A lot of readers of this blog emailed to say he's "one of the best-looking stars of Philippine entertainment", do you agree despite all the many new competition?

NEWS: Here's news from his home TV network ABS-CBN 2 to his fans or admirers, he reportedly will celebrate with you this coming January 14 on Sunday starting 4 pm afternoon at SM Skydome of SM North Edsa Mall in Edsa highway, Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Piolo Pascual is one of the most humble, sensible celebrities I have ever interviewed. He is a devout born-again Christian who told me he goes to church two times a week---for Bible study and for Sunday service. He wanted to be a pastor, and as a youth he had once dreamt of becoming a Catholic priest.

Happy Birthday in advance!

A lot of readers of this blog emailed to say he is one of the most goodlooking stars in Philippine entertainment, do you agree?

Piolo is no longer very young, but his wholesome and healthy lifestyle keeps him fit and youthful in looks. One of his secrets to youthfulness is discipline---the way he eats and regularly exercises like an athlete. A healthy lifestyle indeed makes people in general look better.

Half-Spanish, half-Tagalog actress Marian Rivera of Cavite province, the Philippines is surely one of the most beautiful women in the world. Agree?

I had the privilege to have interviewed Marian Rivera in the past for a magazine cover story in March 2011 and found that Marian is disarmingly witty, humorous, candid and pragmatic in her personality---so she is beautiful not only physically. When GMA 7 interviewed me then, I said she's the most beautiful showbiz star of the Philippines.

Congratulations to this strong-willed and good-humored actress for gracing the covers of three popular Philippine magazines this January 2013---FHM, Women's Health and Star Studio. She is the hottest female star of GMA 7 television network and of Regal Films, both of the Philippines.

Her boyfriend is the award-winning and smart actor Dingdong Dantes, also of GMA 7.

Best wishes to Marian Rivera for her continued great success in 2013!
